Each year hundreds of volunteers from every corner of the globe join the former President and First Lady for a week of building homes and hope with Habitat for Humanity. This year the Carters are joined by our very own HEBSV staff members; Krysta Morgenthaler, Ben Grubb, and Eliza Schissel, along with 600 other volunteers.
This is the second year the Carter Work Project has focused on Léogâne, Haiti as there is still much work to be done to rebuild after the 2010 earthquake that left 400,000 living in temporary shelters. 100 new houses will be built for Haitian families before the week is over.
